LACMA Muse Artwalk

I'm bummed to miss this, but Saturday is moving day for me...

ArtWalk 2009
Saturday, May 30 | 12-8 pm
Miracle Mile
Four free museums
Twenty participating galleries

Official Website

Looks pretty awesome. And if you're super broke, there is a 99 Cent Store just west of Wilshire & Fairfax - I scored PBR Light there once.

Hold the phone - you won't have to hit up 99 Cent, unless you want to. The following galleries have happy hour starting at 4pm: David DeSanctis Gallery, Steve Turner Contemporary, Perrell Fine Art, Lawrence Asher Gallery, Jack Rutberg Gallery, DNJ Gallery. Happy hour sponsored by Grolsch, Malibu Family Wines, and Pernod.

Hmm...maybe I'll take a break from moving...

Art Exhibit - free t-shirt screen!

If you bring a blank t-shirt to Fin this Saturday, graphic artists Hit+Run will screen a design onto it for free. While you're there, check out the other 15 artists at the exhibit and bounce to the DJ. Vitamin Water is a sponsor, so maybe you'll even score some nutrition.

Social Experiment presents: Fin

Downtown Art Walk

Three things I like: walking, downtown, and art.

The Downtown Art Walk is a self-guided tour that showcases the many art exhibition venues in Downtown Los Angeles — commercial art galleries, museums, and non-profit arts venues.

Free iphone app!

Ever feel the urge to squish people? I know I do. The iphone app Pophead lets you do just that.

Hot Frog Creative is offering their iPhone App 'Pophead' for free this week until Friday! (previously $0.99)

They are giving it away to help promote their new app, BNB (Be Nice to Bunnies). "BNB is a searchable application for your iphone or ipod touch that helps you make an informed decision about cruelty-free purchasing anywhere, any time, at home or in-store. The app is available for purchase from the iTunes store, priced at $1.99. A portion of the profits for the app will be donated to animal rights, non-profit organizations."

Good stuff. Happy squeezing, and please consider supporting an app with a cause!

Free KFC

Apparently this happened last week and I missed it, but if you go to this site before 9:59pm CDT tomorrow, you can print a coupon for two pieces of KFC chicken, two sides, and a biscuit for FREE. Shazam.

You do have to install something to print the coupon, apparently.
